Access. Boat tours depart daily from Ilulissat during the summer months.
Notes. Whale watching is best from June to September. Maintain distance to avoid disturbing the animals.
Northeast Greenland National Park

As the world's largest national park, this vast wilderness is the primary habitat for muskoxen, polar bears, and Arctic foxes. It offers a rare, remote opportunity to witness high-Arctic megafauna in a landscape of immense glaciers and fjords.
Access. Access is strictly regulated and typically requires joining specialized expedition cruises or chartered flights from Ittoqqortoormiit.
Notes. Permits from the Greenland Government are mandatory for entry. Strict safety protocols regarding polar bears are essential.

Access. Accessible via ferry or boat from Ilulissat; local guides offer wildlife-focused boat trips.
