The vibe

Located on the largest island of the Nam Du archipelago, this beach offers easy access to rocky outcrops and coral gardens teeming with marine life. The water is remarkably clear, making it a favorite for those looking to snorkel straight from the sand.
Access. Reach the island via high-speed ferry from Rach Gia, then hire a local boat or motorbike to reach the beach.
Notes. Currents can be strong; check local conditions before swimming.

While famous for its white sand, the rocky northern and southern ends of the bay offer interesting shallow-water snorkeling. It is an ideal spot for beginners to explore small reef patches and observe juvenile tropical fish.
Access. Accessible by road from Duong Dong; snorkeling gear can be rented from local beach shacks.
Notes. Visibility is best during the dry season (November to April).

The archipelago is a protected marine sanctuary, offering some of the best snorkeling in Vietnam with high coral diversity and frequent sightings of sea turtles. Sites like Bay Canh Island provide pristine underwater environments with excellent visibility.
Access. Snorkeling tours are easily arranged from Con Son town, often including boat trips to surrounding uninhabited islands.
Notes. Strict marine park rules apply; do not touch or remove any coral.

Notes. As a protected marine area, snorkeling is restricted to designated zones to preserve the reef.
Ninh Van Bay, Nha Trang
