Lake Vättern (Vätternsjö)

Lake Vättern is famous for having some of the cleanest and clearest freshwater in the world. Snorkelers can enjoy visibility reaching up to 15 meters, exploring the rocky lakebed and unique freshwater fish populations.
Access. Shore entry from various points along the lake, particularly near Gränna or Vadstena.
Notes. Water temperatures remain very cold throughout the year; drysuit recommended.
