Set within an exclusive marine sanctuary, Mumbo Island is surrounded by crystal-clear, deep blue freshwater where massive boulders drop off into habitats populated by vibrant cichlid populations. The undisturbed ecosystem provides some of the most pristine freshwater underwater viewing in the country.
Access. Reached via motorized boat transfer from Cape Maclear, arranged through the island eco-lodge or local boat operators.
