    Asveja is the longest lake in Lithuania and is known for its deep, clear waters and scenic forested surroundings. Snorkelers often visit the shallower bays to observe freshwater fish and underwater vegetation in a tranquil, natural environment.

    Access. Shore entry is available at several designated recreation areas along the lake shore, particularly near Dubingiai.

    Located within the Samogitian National Park, this large, clear-water lake is a premier destination for freshwater snorkeling in Lithuania. Snorkelers can explore the underwater remains of the old Plateliai bridge and enjoy the unique visibility of the glacial lake bed.

    Access. Shore entry is easily accessible from the public beaches near the town of Plateliai, where local rental shops provide equipment for water activities.

    Notes. Water temperatures can be cool; a wetsuit is recommended even in summer.
