The vibe
Snorkeling here is less about tropical reefs and more about exploring the rugged, rocky edges where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. The water is clearest during the calmer, warmer months of late summer when the currents settle down. Little Bay sits adjacent to Camp Bay on the western coast, featuring a sheltered lido and rocky shoreline with clear water. It is a favorite spot for local snorkelers looking to examine rocky crevices populated by small Mediterranean reef fish and crustaceans.
Access. Shore entry via concrete platforms, steps, and ladders built into the coastal defense wall. Easily accessible by foot or taxi from downtown.
Notes. Sheltered from eastern winds, but can experience strong surge during western swells.
