Access. Reached via a 45-minute to 1-hour drive or local bus ride east of Kathmandu; vehicle traffic is restricted inside the historic core.

Notes. An overnight stay or full-day ticket is recommended to fully appreciate the peaceful atmosphere after day-trippers leave.
