The vibe
Wandering through these streets feels like stepping into a frozen architectural experiment where art deco facades meet dusty, sun-drenched colonial plazas. The air is clearest and most comfortable during the cooler months between October and March, making long walks through the city center a delight. You will find yourself largely alone in your explorations, as the pace is slow and the atmosphere remains refreshingly devoid of organized tour groups.
