While geographically part of Oman, these waters are the premier destination for sailors departing from the UAE's northern emirates. Known as the 'Norway of Arabia,' the region features dramatic limestone fjords (khors) and crystal-clear waters perfect for anchoring in secluded coves.
Access. Accessible via charter yachts departing from Ras Al Khaimah or Dibba. Many sailors transit from the UAE border to explore the rugged coastline.
Notes. Requires coordination for border crossing and maritime permits. The winds can be unpredictable near the cliffs; best visited in the cooler winter months.
