It is a very visitor-oriented scene, with plenty of high-end charters available for those who want a guided experience on the water.

The waters off Grand Cayman offer excellent day sailing with steady trade winds and crystal-clear Caribbean conditions. Sailors frequently cruise along the iconic Seven Mile Beach or head across the North Sound to Stingray City and Rum Point for sheltered, turquoise-water anchoring.
Access. Charter yachts and sailing catamarans are available for hire from the George Town Yacht Club and various operators at the Barcadere Marina.
Notes. Best sailed from December to April; North Sound requires local knowledge due to shallow reefs.
