Tevragh-Zeina is the diplomatic and business heart of Nouakchott, offering the most stable internet infrastructure and a concentration of modern cafes and hotels suitable for remote work. It serves as the primary hub for international professionals and NGOs, providing a reliable, albeit quiet, environment for focused work.
Access. Located in the capital city, it is easily accessible from Nouakchott-Oumtounsy International Airport; visitors typically stay in serviced apartments or boutique hotels within the district.
Notes. Internet speeds can be inconsistent; reliable 4G hotspots are recommended as a backup. Best visited during the cooler months from November to February.
