Access. Located in the capital city, these areas are easily accessible via Kamuzu International Airport and are best navigated by private taxi or ride-hailing apps for long-term stays of several weeks.
Notes. Power stability can be inconsistent; ensure your accommodation has a generator or solar backup. Connectivity is generally reliable via fiber-optic providers in these specific neighborhoods.
City Center, Blantyre

As the commercial capital of Malawi, Blantyre's city center serves as a bustling hub for business travelers and remote workers who prefer a more urban, high-energy environment. The area features several hotels and business centers that provide the reliable Wi-Fi and quiet workspaces necessary for professional tasks.
Access. Blantyre is well-connected by road and air, with the city center serving as the main transit hub. Visitors typically stay in serviced apartments or business-oriented hotels within the central district for stays ranging from two weeks to several months.
Notes. Like much of the country, grid reliability varies; prioritize accommodations with dedicated power backup systems. The city is more industrial and fast-paced compared to the capital.
