Maseru's core and commercial zones serve as the primary base in Lesotho for remote workers needing reliable LTE/5G connectivity, serviced guesthouses, and a few dedicated co-working initiatives. While cafes with fast Wi-Fi are limited, major hotels and corporate hubs provide stable workspaces and a professional infrastructure.
Access. Accessible via Moshoeshoe I International Airport or overland crossings from South Africa; most digital workers base themselves in secure complexes in Thetsane or the downtown district.
Notes. Power outages (load shedding transmitted from the regional grid) can occasionally occur, so accommodations with backup generators or UPS systems are essential.
