Stanley is the capital and main settlement of the Falkland Islands, offering the most reliable broadband and a small but growing community of remote workers. The town hosts a dedicated coworking space in the former post office building, plus several cafés with stable Wi‑Fi, making it suitable for freelancers and digital nomads who need a dependable connection and a chance to mingle with locals and other expats.
Access. Most visitors stay in guesthouses or the Stanley Hotel, both within walking distance of the coworking hub and cafés. Weekly ferry services connect Stanley to other islands, and the local airport provides flights to Punta Arenas (Chile) for longer trips. Stays of 1‑4 weeks are common for remote‑work sabbaticals.
