Bole is the primary commercial and diplomatic hub of Ethiopia's capital, offering the highest concentration of high-speed internet-ready hotels, international-standard cafes, and emerging coworking spaces. It is the most accessible neighborhood for digital nomads, featuring a vibrant mix of modern infrastructure, global dining, and proximity to the international airport.
Access. Bole is centrally located near Bole International Airport; visitors typically stay in serviced apartments or boutique hotels within the district, which is highly walkable and well-connected by taxis.
Notes. Internet connectivity can be inconsistent; choosing accommodation with dedicated fiber or backup generators is essential. Ethiopia operates on East Africa Time (EAT).
