Setting up a temporary office here is challenging due to inconsistent internet connectivity and a lack of dedicated coworking infrastructure. While the environment is peaceful, it is not currently set up for a productive nomad month. You would be better off treating this as a place to disconnect entirely rather than a hub for professional output.

Bujumbura serves as the primary urban hub in Burundi, offering a growing number of hotels and dedicated business centers that cater to international professionals. The city provides a central base for those needing reliable internet access and proximity to the country's main administrative and commercial institutions.
Access. The city is accessible via Melchior Ndadaye International Airport; most remote workers base themselves in the central business district or the nearby Rohero neighborhood for easier access to amenities.
Notes. Connectivity can be inconsistent outside of major hotels and dedicated hubs; it is recommended to verify backup power and internet solutions before arrival.
