Cocody is the upscale heart of Abidjan's legendary nightlife, featuring high-end lounges, open-air maquis, and bustling nightlife corridors like Rue des Jardins. The vibe shifts seamlessly from relaxed after-work drinks to high-energy clubbing that lasts until dawn. It is the premier entertainment district for both locals and international visitors.
Access. Easily accessible by taxi from anywhere in Abidjan, primarily based out of the Plateau or Cocody neighborhoods.
Notes. Taxis are the safest way to get around late at night. Dress codes at upscale lounges and clubs can be smart-casual to formal.
Grand-Bassam Beach Strip

Notes. Nightlife peaks significantly on Friday and Saturday nights; weekdays are much quieter.
