The winter months provide the safest and most pleasant weather for extended touring away from the intense summer heat. This is primarily a do-it-yourself venture where you bring your own watercraft to explore the hidden coves and quiet inlets.

Located on the border of the UAE and the Musandam Peninsula, this area provides access to dramatic limestone cliffs and hidden coves. It is a world-class sea-kayaking destination known for its fjord-like topography and crystal-clear waters.
Access. Most visitors join organized expeditions from Dibba, which include transport to remote launch points along the coast.
Notes. Requires coordination with local tour operators due to the proximity to the Omani border. Best season is October to April.
