Access. Canoe and kayak rentals are abundant in Silkeborg and Ry. The river is well-marked with designated landing spots and camping areas suitable for paddlers.
Notes. A 'Gudenå-kort' (permit) is required for certain sections during the peak season. Suitable for all skill levels.
Limfjord

Access. Rentals and guided trips are available in towns like Thisted and Struer. The area is ideal for self-supported island touring.
Notes. The water is generally calm, but wind can pick up quickly across the open fjord sections.

Access. Kayak rentals are available in Ebeltoft and Aarhus. The area is popular for day trips and coastal exploration along the rugged eastern Jutland shore.
Notes. Exposed to the east, so monitor wind conditions before heading out.
