Access. Numerous rental operators in Dinant and Houyet provide sit-on-top kayaks and shuttle services for the popular descent to Anseremme.
Notes. Water levels are regulated and can be subject to seasonal closures; best paddled from spring to early autumn.

The coastal area around Nieuport offers access to both the North Sea and the calm, protected waters of the Yser estuary. It is a popular spot for sea kayakers to practice coastal navigation and explore the unique salt-marsh environment.
Access. Local watersports centers in Nieuport provide sea kayak rentals and guided excursions into the nature reserve.
Notes. Be aware of wind conditions and tidal changes when venturing out of the estuary into the North Sea.
