Designed by George Fazio, Cariari is one of Costa Rica's oldest and most prestigious traditional parkland courses. Lined with towering mature trees and featuring narrow fairways and challenging greens, it has hosted numerous international tournaments.
Access. Private club requiring a member introduction or reciprocal club arrangement for visitor play.
Notes. Strict dress code enforced. Located close to San José International Airport.

Perched on the dramatic Peninsula Papagayo, this Arnold Palmer-designed course offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from almost every hole. Winding through tropical dry forests and elevated ridgelines, it is Costa Rica's premier luxury golf destination.
Access. Guests of the Four Seasons Resort have priority access; non-resort guests may book tee times directly through the clubhouse subject to availability.
Notes. Spikes must be soft. Proper golf attire required. Best played during the dry season from December to April.
Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course, Guanacaste

Designed by Mike Young, this championship course runs right along the stunning Guanacaste coastline, weaving through indigenous trees and native wildlife. Holes like the par-3 15th offer direct views of the crashing Pacific surf, providing an unforgettable tropical golf experience.
Access. Open to resort guests at Hacienda Pinilla and external visitors with advance reservations.
Notes. Can get quite windy in the afternoons during the dry season. Cart paths and GPS equipped.
