There is no breath-hold diving culture or infrastructure along these shores. The combination of rough seas and zero recreational dive presence means you will find neither clubs nor training spots. This coastline belongs to surface-level travelers and the elements.

The Banc d'Arguin is a vast, shallow marine environment characterized by extensive seagrass beds and sandbanks. Freedivers visit this UNESCO-protected site for the exceptional marine life, including rays and large schools of fish that congregate in the clear, shallow waters.
Access. Access is strictly regulated and requires booking through authorized park guides and traditional boat operators based in Iwik.
Notes. Strict environmental protection rules apply; no motorized vessels allowed in core zones; depth is very shallow.
