Farwa Island offers a unique, shallow lagoon environment with crystal-clear turquoise waters protected by a long sandbar. Freedivers frequent this area for its calm, current-free conditions and pristine sandy bottom, ideal for shallow-water technique practice and relaxed breath-hold exploration.
Access. Access is primarily via private boat charters from the nearby coastal town of Zuwarah, as there are no established commercial freedive schools on the island itself.
