Freediving is not a developed activity here, and you will find little to no organized scene for breath-hold exploration. It is geographically possible, but the lack of infrastructure makes it a challenge for the casual visitor.

Located within the Brunei Bay mangrove ecosystem, this area offers unique calm-water breath-hold sessions. The water is sheltered from open-sea swells, providing a controlled environment for static and dynamic apnea practice.
Access. Accessible via boat charter from Bandar Seri Begawan. Freediving enthusiasts typically arrange private trips with local water-sports operators who specialize in non-scuba aquatic activities.
Notes. Tidal currents can be strong in the channels; always consult local boat captains regarding water movement and visibility.
