Breath-hold diving here is essentially non-existent for travelers, as the country lacks any established freediving infrastructure, clubs, or coastal depth access. You will find no organized scene or community to drop in on. Anyone attempting to submerge here does so entirely on their own whim without local support.

Neum Bay provides a calm, protected environment for breath-hold practice with relatively clear Adriatic waters. Freedivers frequent the area for its accessible depth and minimal boat traffic compared to neighboring coastal regions.
Access. Access is primarily via shore entry from the public beaches in Neum, where local freediving enthusiasts gather for training sessions.
Notes. Be mindful of seasonal summer boat traffic near the shore.
