The vibe

A popular leisure spot off the coast of Sitra offering accessible nearshore and reef fishing opportunities. Anglers target local Arabian Gulf species including hammour, seabream, and emperor fish over rocky and coral patches.
Access. Accessible via a short boat ride from Sitra Fisherman's Port. Local boat rentals and fishing excursions can be arranged through the Al Dar Islands resort facilities.
Notes. Recreational fishing is permitted, but visitors should check local size limits and conservation regulations set by the Supreme Council for Environment in Bahrain.

Remote archipelago near the maritime border with Qatar known for pristine waters and rich marine biodiversity. The surrounding deep channels and reefs offer prime grounds for offshore sportfishing, targeting large pelagics and bottom fish.
Access. Requires chartering a specialized boat from the main island of Bahrain or booking through authorized resort operators on Hawar Island.
Notes. Due to proximity to international waters and nature reserve boundaries, visitors must verify permits and heed restricted military or environmental zones.
