The vibe

Landhuis Chobolobo Distillery

The historic plantation house of Landhuis Chobolobo is the birthplace of the famous Curaçao liqueur and local rum. Visitors can tour the copper stills, learn the orange‑peel infusion process, and sample a range of aged rums and the iconic blue Curaçao.
Access. Guided tours run daily by reservation; the distillery is a short taxi ride from Willemstad’s historic centre. Walkable from the Rif Fort and near the waterfront promenade.

Schiedam is the historic historic capital of jenever, the traditional Dutch juniper-flavored spirit that preceded gin. Visitors can wander past towering historic windmills and heritage distilleries to discover centuries-old distillation techniques, tasting rooms, and the National Jenever Museum.
