Jersey offers world-class wreck diving due to its extreme tidal range and history as a strategic maritime location. Divers explore numerous WWII-era vessels and historical merchant ships resting in the surrounding Channel Islands waters.
Access. Several local dive centers operate out of St. Helier, providing boat charters to offshore wrecks. Divers must be comfortable with tidal planning and boat-based entries.
Notes. Extreme tidal currents require advanced planning and slack water timing; best visibility is typically found in summer months.
