Located off the coast of Sekondi-Takoradi in western Ghana, these sites feature historic shipwrecks and artificial reefs established by old cargo vessel sinkings. Divers encounter abundant schooling fish, rays, and crustaceans clinging to the metal structures. Visibility varies seasonally, offering an authentic off-the-beaten-path wreck diving experience.
Access. Scuba diving operations and charter boats can be arranged through local dive operators based in Takoradi or expatriate-run dive clubs in the region.
Notes. Depths range from 15 to 30 meters. Best conditions occur during the dry season months. Always check local sea states.
