Lom Homole and similar flooded granite and limestone quarries near Prague offer clear freshwater diving with submerged objects, training platforms, and sunken vehicles. Divers explore sunken boats, training platforms, and freshwater fish populations like perch and pike. Visibility can be very good, especially outside peak summer months.
Access. Accessible via local Czech diving clubs and training centers operating equipment rentals and guided shore dives. Reservations are recommended on weekends during the summer season.
Notes. Depths range from 10 to 30 meters. Water temperatures drop significantly in winter, so drysuits are commonly used.
