Notes. Year-round riding due to the temperate climate. Traffic is light on rural forest roads but can be busy near the city center.

A legendary route through the dramatic limestone karsts and deep canyons of northern Vietnam. This high-altitude journey offers some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Southeast Asia, attracting adventurous cyclists looking for challenging climbs and remote village culture.
Access. Bike rentals and guided tour operators are based in Ha Giang City. Luggage transfer services are available through local guesthouses.
Notes. Best from October to April. Extremely challenging terrain with steep gradients; e-bikes are recommended for non-professional cyclists.
Hue to Hoi An Coastal Route

This classic touring route follows the central coast, passing through the Hai Van Pass, one of the most iconic coastal climbs in the country. The route offers a mix of ocean vistas, historic sites, and quiet rural roads.
Access. Many tour operators offer point-to-point bike touring packages with luggage support between Hue and Hoi An.
Notes. Best in spring. The Hai Van Pass is a significant climb; heavy truck traffic exists on the main highway, so local coastal detours are preferred.
