Cycling in Latvia

The vibe
Riding across the countryside means cruising quiet secondary asphalt roads and sandy forest tracks that weave past wooden farmhouses and empty coastline. Midsummer offers endless daylight for long tours, though coastal winds can test your legs on exposed stretches. Drivers are generally respectful, making it a peaceful, independent touring destination rather than a hectic racer's training ground.
