Cycling in Eswatini
Including Ezulwini Valley and Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and Malolotja Nature Reserve. On the map.
The vibe
Cycling through the valley floors and mountain passes feels like a test of endurance against a dramatic, undulating backdrop where the road is shared with local life rather than dedicated bike lanes. The mild winter months are perfect for long days in the saddle, avoiding the intense heat that can make midday riding difficult. It is a rugged, self-reliant trip where you should expect to navigate traffic and rural conditions on your own terms.
