Sibebe Rock is a massive granite dome and one of the most prominent geological features in Eswatini, offering extensive slab and friction climbing. It is a world-class destination for those seeking adventurous, run-out granite climbing on a scale that rivals international big-wall granite areas.
Access. Located just outside the capital, Mbabane, the area is easily accessible by car. Climbers typically base themselves in Mbabane or the nearby Ezulwini Valley, and local guidebooks or the Eswatini climbing community can provide information on established routes.
Notes. The climbing is primarily traditional, requiring a solid head for run-out slab climbing on high-quality granite. Best visited during the cooler, dry months from May to September.
