You will find no established climbing culture or infrastructure, making this a purely self-reliant experience for those who bring their own gear and local knowledge.

Rising prominently above the surrounding plains, this granite inselberg offers the most significant vertical rock climbing in Burkina Faso. Climbers visit for the unique adventure of multi-pitch traditional routes on high-quality, weathered granite faces.
Access. Located near the town of Pô, accessible by road from Ouagadougou. Climbers should bring all necessary trad gear and ropes as there are no local rental shops or established climbing schools.
Notes. Best climbed during the cooler months from November to February. Requires self-sufficiency; no bolting infrastructure exists.
