The dry months from late autumn through spring bring the most reliable sunshine and calmer seas for swimming along the long stretches of mainland shore. It feels wonderfully unpretentious and largely DIY, where wandering down any sandy lane leads to plastic chairs and cold seafood without a structured tour in sight.

Known as 'Cream Beach', this crescent-shaped bay features exceptionally fine, soft white sand and calm, turquoise waters. It offers a more secluded and upscale atmosphere compared to other beaches on the island.
Access. Accessible by taxi or motorbike from Duong Dong town; located near several luxury resorts.
Notes. Best visited during the dry season from November to April.
Bai Sao, Phu Quoc

Widely considered the most beautiful beach on Phu Quoc, Bai Sao features fine, powdery white sand and shallow, turquoise waters. It is a quintessential tropical escape with palm trees leaning over the calm sea.
Access. Accessible by taxi or motorbike from Duong Dong town; popular but spacious enough to find a quiet spot.
Notes. Can get busy with day-trippers; best visited early in the morning.

Access. Located within the Ghenh Rang Tien Sa tourist area, easily accessible from Quy Nhon city center.
Notes. Walking barefoot can be difficult; water shoes are recommended.
