Zeeland

Located at the southernmost tip of the Dutch coast near the Belgian border, offering wide sandy beaches where fossilized shark teeth can often be found. It combines a serene resort vibe with clean, swimmable waters.

Access. Easily reached by car or regional buses from Zeeland transport hubs; well-developed facilities along the promenade.

Oranjestad

One of Aruba's widest public beaches, with soft white sand and vivid Caribbean blue water. Low-rise divi-divi trees dot the shoreline, giving it a less built-up feel than Palm Beach. Excellent for long swims and sunset walks.

Access. Free public beach with parking along the coastal road; easy taxi or bus from Oranjestad and hotel zone. Less dense than Palm Beach but still well serviced.

Curacao

Widely considered the most beautiful beach on Curaçao, this cove is framed by dramatic limestone cliffs and features brilliant turquoise water. The shore is a mix of fine sand and small coral fragments, perfect for a classic Caribbean swim.

Access. Accessible by car with a parking area at the top of the cliff; stairs lead down to the beach.

Notes. Can get crowded on weekends; bring your own snorkel gear as there is no rental shop on the beach.

South Holland

A massive sandy beach where the Nieuwe Waterweg meets the North Sea, offering wide shores and excellent spots for watching massive cargo ships pass by. Highly popular for swimming, windsurfing, and sunbathing.

Access. Directly connected to Rotterdam via the metro line ending right at the beach station.

Netherlands

Notes. The bay is a protected marine park; please respect the seagrass beds.

Aruba

Access. Located in Pos Chiquito; best reached by rental car. Access to the water is via wooden stairs or small sandy entry points.

Notes. Currents can be strong outside the protected reef area; stay within the lagoon for swimming.

Curacao

Zeeland
