The vibe

Ella

Ella is a scenic mountain village that has become a hub for high-altitude adventure, featuring the Flying Ravana zipline. This dual-wire zipline offers breathtaking views over the Ella Gap and the tea plantations below, making it a signature experience for visitors.
Access. Ella is reachable by train or road from Kandy or Colombo. The zipline is located at the Flying Ravana Adventure Park, which is easily accessible by tuk-tuk from the town center.
Notes. The zipline operates daily, weather permitting; it is recommended to book in advance during peak tourist seasons.
Koggala

Koggala offers a unique paragliding experience along the southern coast of Sri Lanka, where pilots can soar over the Indian Ocean and the Koggala Lake. The coastal winds provide consistent conditions for tandem flights, offering a bird's-eye view of the golden beaches.
Access. Located near Galle, Koggala is accessible via the southern expressway. Tandem paragliding flights are organized by local adventure clubs that operate during the dry season.
Notes. Flights are highly dependent on wind conditions; the best season is typically from December to March.
