Located in the foothills of the High Atlas, Aguergour is one of Morocco's most iconic paragliding sites. It offers consistent thermal conditions and stunning views over the Lalla Takerkoust reservoir, making it a premier destination for pilots seeking long cross-country flights.
Access. Accessible via a short drive from Marrakech; local paragliding schools and clubs in Marrakech provide tandem flights and transport to the launch site.
Notes. Best flown from autumn to spring; requires intermediate pilot skills for thermal flying.
Ahansal River

The Ahansal River, flowing through the dramatic gorges near the Cathedral of Imsfrane, offers some of the most scenic whitewater rafting in the High Atlas. The river features exciting rapids set against a backdrop of towering limestone cliffs and remote Berber villages.
Access. Trips typically depart from Marrakech or Azilal; multi-day expeditions are the standard way to experience the remote canyon sections.
Notes. Water levels are highly seasonal, generally best in spring during snowmelt.
Ourika Valley

The Ourika Valley is a popular adventure hub where travelers can find high-altitude ziplines that traverse the lush river valley. These courses offer a unique perspective of the Atlas Mountains and the terraced gardens below.

Todra Gorge

Todra Gorge is famous for its massive canyon walls, which now host a spectacular via ferrata route. This protected climb allows adventurers to ascend the sheer cliffs safely, providing an exhilarating way to experience the scale of the gorge.
